"God's Work. Our Hands." Sunday

Join us, and an estimated 10,000 ELCA congregations, for this annual day of service! At NJLC, this is a day to connect with our church community and support some of our outreach projects. "God's Work. Our Hands." begins with worship at 10:00 a.m., followed by a delicious potluck luncheon. After lunch we will begin our service projects.

2019's projects include:

  • NEW Building a shed for Lovettsville Elementary School.

  • NEW Landscaping and gardening at The Lovettsville Home.

  • Assembling health kits for distribution to Lutheran World Relief.

  • Sorting and stocking for the Western Loudoun Food Pantry.

  • Working on quilts for Lutheran World Relief.

  • Cleaning and organizing supplies in the education building.

  • Assisting with lunch set-up and breakdown.

Sign up sheets for the potluck will be in the fellowship hall, and donation bags for the food pantry will be distributed during services beginning on 8/25. We ask you fill these bags with the items from the list on the bag and return them on Sunday, 9/8.
